Born in the wilds of Washington DC, Kitty Chandler has been listening to and telling stories since she was old enough to string together a sentence. She spent her childhood balancing a rigorous education and the lure of her imagination, went to college in the snowy wilds of Wisconsin to study anthropology and history, and now works in her family's business in the Blue Ridge mountains. She is supported and encouraged by her boyfriend and a variable number of cats.

Kitty has published several short stories in small magazines and anthologies, including The Deli Counter of Justice by Gobbledygeek and Fantasy Twists by Cuil Press. She has also self-published three novels, and is currently maintaining an average of three novel drafts per year, two novels edited, and a frankly absurd number of short stories. In her free time she studies and practices up to twelve languages, plays with art supplies, and spends an inordinate amount of time taking cat pictures.
